Past Events

The Tshepo Trust hosted an incredible virtual run (or walk!) event in 2020. Participants were encouraged to pledge their 5km run or walk via an online ticket purchase of R 200, and were then asked to either join The Tshepo Trust team at Vice Coffee in Craighall Park, Johannesburg, or to run/walk in their local areas, joining via tagging our page on Instagram.

Ticket purchasing went towards student data, tuition, living supplies, and psychosocial support.

The event proved to be vibrant, colourful, and hope-inspiring. We truly had a FANTASTIC time at our wonderful gathering, spending time with our family of beneficiaries along with the runners joining us both in person and virtually (running in their own neighbourhoods across the world).

A special thank you to each of our runners, walkers, and collaborators, with a special thank you to Vice Coffee for hosting us. We are also immensely grateful to Corner Café, Pilates with Stace, Versus Socks, and Good Cup, who each sponsored awesome prizes and really just brought that extra touch!

We will be sure to repeat this event again in the future, and hope to see you there.

In past years, The Tshepo Trust has hosted an Annual Golf Day as one of our well-known fundraising activities. This year threw a spanner into the works, with gatherings being highly restricted. We therefore decided to turn our Golf Day into a Golf Challenge!

Running throughout the month of October, golfers were encouraged to dedicate their four-ball to The Tshepo Trust, offering a donation as a way to showcase solidarity to our cause.

Upon committing their four-ball to The Tshepo Trust, golfers were entered into our Golf Challenge Raffle, with lucky winners enjoying Woolworth’s Vouchers of various amounts.

While our raffle has come to an end, we would love for you to dedicate your four-ball to The Tshepo Trust, with all donations to be made to:

The Tshepo Trust, Standard Bank, 018105, 021592578, reference ‘name/four-ball’.

The Tshepo Trust Art Auction 2020

The Tshepo Trust hosted an exciting online art auction to celebrate and support local South African artists, and to raise funds for the Tshepo Trust beneficiary family!

This Tshepo Trust Collection showcases local talent, shares South African narratives and story, and supports community development efforts by bringing together the celebration of art with fundraising efforts for our non-profit organization.
